Welcome to day 12 of Journeying Through a Month of Grace.

Today we give ourselves healing.  We come here to this beautiful planet to remember where we come from, who we truly are. We come here to remember that we are already whole that there’s nothing broken about us. And yet, on this level of existence, we experience pain, hurt, trauma and suffering. We feel separate from ourselves and other people. We feel that in fact we are broken. Healing is tending to those wounds that have hurt us in the past with loving care and tenderness. Healing can happen in many ways and forms. Sometimes it is a smile from a stranger, or a simple word of kindness. It is the breath we give ourselves, the space, the stillness, the nourishment and care. It is the time we give ourselves to heal, to feel, and to remember our truth.

“I’m here. I love you. I don’t care if you need to stay up crying all night long, I will stay with you. If you need the medication again, go ahead and take it—I will love you through that, as well. If you don’t need the medication, I will love you, too. There’s nothing you can ever do to lose my love. I will protect you until you die, and after your death I will still protect you. I am stronger than Depression and I am braver than Loneliness and nothing will ever exhaust me.”
Elizabeth Gilbert, Eat, Pray, Love

So, today give yourself healing.

—————–

As we’re Wrapping Up 2022 (listen to episode #167) many of us find ourselves in a lot of fast-paced pressure. We have so many things we wanna wrap up, finish and complete before we enter the year of 2023, that we tend to forget to really tune in and slow down. This is the season to slow down. I myself need this reminder so I thought I take you on this journey with me.

I hope you enjoy.
