A Month of Grace – Day 25 – Give Yourself Patience
A Month of Grace - Day 25 - Patience

Date

Welcome to day 25 of Journeying Through a Month of Grace.

Today we give ourselves patience. Patience is the absence of rigid expectation. There’s an expectation of a sort of an outcome of things and events that is rooted in a knowingness of some kind and an unshakable trust and faith, that no mater what the outcome, it will be in our best interest. We do not try to forcefully manipulate things and events, we allow a higher power to work through us and everything.
Sometimes we have to acknowledge the fact that it’s not just the right time, but if it’s meant to be it will happen. This or something better.

Here’s a wonderful quote by one of my favorite authors and thinkers: Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet

“Have patience with everything that remains unsolved in your heart. Try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books written in a foreign language. Do not now look for the answers. They cannot now be given to you because you could not live them. It is a question of experiencing everything. At present you need to live the question. Perhaps you will gradually, without even noticing it, find yourself experiencing the answer, some distant day.”

So today, beautiful, give yourself patience.

As we’re Wrapping Up 2022 (listen to episode #167) many of us find ourselves in a lot of fast-paced pressure. We have so many things we wanna wrap up, finish and complete before we enter the year of 2023, that we tend to forget to really tune in and slow down. This is the season to slow down. I myself need this reminder so I thought I take you on this journey with me.

I hope you enjoy.
